Not too long ago, we heard about Lexus teaming up with a Friends actor. Now it looks like yet another division of Toyota is joining the game.

Today, Scion and Roman Coppola (son of Francis Ford Coppola) debut a new comedy web series about Kung-Fu puppets titled ‘The Fist of Oblivion.’

The series is part of Scion’s goal of gaining viewers for their new online multimedia experience Scion Broadband- sort of a video portal for all things Scion sponsors. This includes music videos, documentaries, interviews and any other new web series.

As for the plot, it looks to resemble a cross between The Muppets and any Jackie Chan movie. The star is Ricky Brisco, an ex-cop and Kung-Fu master, who was framed for murder 5 years ago. Now that he’s out of jail, he’s on the hunt for the man that framed him.

‘The Fist of Oblivion’ Trailer

This is the trailer, narrated by Master Shake of Aqua Teen Hunger Force. Though, it does seem a bit childish for a Coppola. Catch new episodes every Tuesday until December.
