As a frequent concert goer, I’m constantly chastised by some of my elders for spending hundreds of dollars sometimes “just to see a band live.”

What they fail to realize is that I don’t go just for the music, but rather the energy and special moments like this…

When Coldplay performed “Fix You” at Sound Relief 2009 just days ago, I don’t think anyone could have foreseen Chris Martin going crazy like this. Just when guitar solo/bridge hits around the 2:55 mark, he jumps off the stage and the next thing you know he’s being chased by people.

The most incredible aspect of this concert moment is that the music goes with the running. It’s surreal how much the crowd loves him. To top it off, when Chirs re-emerges from the crowd and gets back on stage he even tries to finish the song out of breath.

Classic.
