It’s a tragic story, but even more tragic is the fact that it could all be prevented with a little thing called “compassion.”

A 6 year-old who was legally ordered to live with her grandparents due to her mother’s drug habit is now getting kicked out by the retirement community because of her age.

For the past 5 years, The Lakes Homeowners Association has been trying to kick out 6 year-old Kimberly based on the fact that she happens to be under the age of 55. The president of the community, as seen in this video, says it’s merely a matter of “enforcing policies.”

Now we know which neighborhood to not bring the kids to this Halloween.
