It doesn’t matter how many of these ridiculous clips I watch. I just can’t get enough of Maury Povich exposing people’s stupid phobias. After the petrified pickles girl and the frightened peaches man, I figured I’d seen it all. Then along comes crazy cotton lady.

She struggles to change her son’s diapers as she worries the cotton will come out. And don’t even think of asking her to use a cotton ball.

The root of her phobia stems from a recurring dream featuring a cotton ball man. He appears much like the marshmallow man in Ghostbusters, only this guy wants to stuff cotton balls in her mouth. A fate worse than death, surely.

Of course, all Maury wants to do is help people. And so, he creates several cotton men that chase her around the studio. I’m sure that fixed her!
