Creating a Cat Proof Fence Video | Can One Man Outwit Two Kitties?

This is a story of man, two cats, and the fence that comes between them.

Looking like a relic from some 80s hair band, our handyman host tells us of his quest to create an escape proof fence. He says no one has ever done it before, but he’s determined to keep his Abyssinians on his property.

It’s an unusual premise for a video, and one that doesn’t sound so compelling on paper. Yet funnily enough, I got sucked in. Even if you’re not particularly interested in whether PVC pipe really can keep cats in, make sure you watch until the end.

As any cat owner knows, these animals are their own masters. Watching these kitties outwit their hapless owner at the video’s close is just priceless.

You are not crazy. Three years ago someone forced acid down my Siamese cat’s throat and killed him. After the drug-dealing neighbor who did that moved, I only allowed my cats out for a couple hours a day in the afternoon when I was home from work. Last week someone shot my other Siamese. Now I take my cats on walks only when I am there. I would like to put up a cat fence, but my cat that was just shot was actually in my yard when he was shot, and I guess someone could shoot him through a fence. He lived but is not feeling too great. None of my neighbors have ever even complained about my cats. I have no idea why people are so cruel. I think my cat that was just shot, was shot by a neighbor’s child who loves to shoot his gun. Of course I cannot prove anything. You would think that I live in some slum, but actually I live in a small town in Southern Utah where people have no respect for animals.
