Shridhar Chillal is a bit of an idiot. He spent 66 years growing the fingernails on his left hand. Why? Because why not. It’s brought him a hint of fame and fortune, I guess.
Now, at the age of 82, Chillal has had his fingernails cut off. And he let the cameras in to film the end of an era.
The Guiness World Record Holder has now donated the fingernails to Ripley’s Believe It Or Not in New York, so you can go and see them for yourself.
Watching this video actually made me feel a little queasy. Especially seeing the way Chillal’s hand has been deformed by the weight of his record-breaking fingernails.
