Last week, the world tragically lost a bright young star in Heath Ledger. His death cast a dark shadow over this year’s Screen Actor’s Guild Awards. In this clip from the ceremony, Daniel Day Lewis dedicates his award to Ledger.

Ledger was known for choosing his roles carefully and for taking risks that other actors would shy away from, and that won him lots of admiration from both fans and fellow stars.
