I feel like a little kid on the playground watching a couple of kids go at it and the crowd letting out “ooooo’s” and “awwww’s” in delight at the bickering. But, instead of being a kid on a playground, this is real life bashing of John McCain by none other than David Letterman. See John, that’s what you get for cancelling on Letterman! Oooooo!
And Letterman doesn’t stop there; his rant continues throughout the show and then McCain ended up as a butt of a joke in one of Letterman’s infamous “Top 10” lists. Awwwww!
Even Meredith Vieira is scared of Letterman and watching the fight from the safety of the crowd. Think McCain will ever go on Letterman in the future? I asked the magic 8 ball and it said “outlook not good.”
