With a new Star Wars movie, The Force Awakens, just weeks away from release, now would seem as good a time as any to look back at The Prequel Trilogy.
Are these movies as bad as most fans seem to think? Are we missing a genuinely brilliant story arc by focusing too much on what didn’t work in these films?
This video suggests so, with its creator showing how at at their core the prequels showed the Jedi Council becoming corrupted, essentially turning to the Dark Side to foster their own ends.
To be honest, I still don’t like these movies, and they consistently bore me every time I try to watch them. But the man has a point.
