Richmond Park is a park in Richmond. And it is home to hundreds of deers who roam wild eating the grass. They’re protected and people are advised to keep their distance from the magnificent creatures.
Sadly dog owners are a selfish bunch. And they walk through the park with their dogs off the lead and then wonder why one occasionally chases some of the deer. Some have even killed young deer.
This owner’s plight, as his dog Fenton (in case you hadn’t spotted the name), runs after a herd of deer and refuses to stop, was caught on camera by a teenager filming in Richmond Park. And I’m so glad he did, because the clip has amused me no end.
