I’ve always had an inkling that my cat doesn’t need me. An automatic machine dispenses his food at regular intervals, and the roof over his head sort of supports itself. I could disappear tomorrow and I don’t think he’d miss me one bit.

This video only strengthens my argument. Once pets start to work together, we really are useless.

Here we see Ruger the Cattle Dog giving his kitty pal a scooter ride. I can’t imagine a cat putting himself out this way, but Ruger doesn’t seem to mind. He handles the scooter like a pro, and on the return journey the wheels do all the work.

This is a glimpse into our future. Once the animals work it out, we really will be superfluous!
