Goulding sang this at the reception held at Buckingham Palace later in the day, and it was apparently the song the happy couple shared their first dance (as a married couple) to. Which is sweet.
The royal wedding and her new association with William and Kate has been an absolute Godsend for Ellie Goulding, as it’s made her much more famous than she was previously, especially in the U.S.
It’s no surprise to see her making her debut appearance on Saturday Night Live just a week after the event took place. Wills and Kate may have got married but it could be Ellie Goulding who is the big winner.
