Slow-motion videos aren’t anything new; they’ve been a staple part of the Internet and YouTube for years now. But there is still the odd gem to be found.

This video comes courtesy of The Slo Mo Guys, some guys committed to filming things in slow-motion and then posting the results to the Web. And this time they tackled a giant 6-foot water balloon.

The slow-motion was filmed between 2500fps and 1000fps. Which is very slow indeed.

The moment at which the two guys jumping together breaks the water balloon open is absolutely awesome. I was so impressed I watched it three times in quick succession. Which is rare for me these days with the sheer weight of YouTube videos there are.
