Empire of the Sun scooped last night’s ARIA Awards, taking home gongs for best pop release, best band, best single, and best album. The band capped off the night with this colorful performance of the hit single “Walking on a Dream.”

With Nick Littlemore pursuing overseas interest, it was left to his other half Luke Steele to bring all the flamboyance. And didn’t he deliver, with a decidedly rock and roll outfit and some spectacular visual effects.

His pointy dancers almost seemed like they were wearing ARIAS with their sharp metal costumes. And you just can’t go wrong with a few pyrotechnics!
