James Corden managed to persuade some big names to join him for the first episode of The Late Late Show with James Corden. Including Tom Hanks, possibly the best actor of his generation, and clearly the nicest man in Hollywood.
Hanks and Corden spent 8 minutes summarizing all of Tom Hanks’ films by acting out the most memorable scenes. And the result is rather amusing.
American television reviewers seem to have enjoyed Corden’s debut, which, as a Brit, makes me happy. Not because us Brits stick together, but because it means Corden will stay in the U.S. and not darken our doors again with his unfunny antics and disingenuous attitude.
