The Marvel Cinematic Universe has come a long way since those early attempts at doing comic book characters justice on the big screen, and Thor: Ragnarok may just be the best Marvel movie yet.
Chris Stuckmann certainly thinks so…
Thor: Ragnarok is obviously centered around Thor, with the Incredible Hulk and Loki also playing major roles in the plot. But this isn’t a serious movie, it’s a comedy from start to finish.
Stuckmann and others appreciate this ramping up of the humor, but I personally wonder if playing it for laughs (even when things are getting serious) will grate after a while.
Thor: Ragnarok is out in theaters now, and is garnering mostly positive reviews.
