It’s unimaginable to not have the use of your arms. They are almost essential to doing anything in this word, and a life without them would be so difficult.

But we may now have a solution for people who lose their arms – full arm transplants. A german farmer has just received the world’s first ever double arm transplant.

Karl Merk is the poor guy’s name, and he was unfortunate enough to lose both arms at the shoulder in a farming accident six years ago.

He’s now become the first person ever to receive a double arm transplant, and doctors say he is already able to perform simple tasks.

The guy is a walking miracle, and although it may take years until he gets full use of his new arms, his future is now looking much brighter than it once did. The miracles of science.
