For those looking for both a good laugh and cry, look no further than ‘Forget the Rules.’ Since 2006, the Australian Dramedy has gained millions of views online and is now on it’s second series.

Each 3-minute long webisode in the series centers around Louise Crawford (from TV series City Homicide) and her two high school friends from Adelaide. All the drama and comedy comes from their strong friendship that resembles a bond between siblings.

Aside from the official site, viewers can watch episodes on YouTube as well as their mobile phones through Optus Zoo.


The Characters

Each character is actually based on a real-life friend of Jim Shomos, the creator of the series.

  • Lisa: Needs to forget her want for control and engage with the world
  • Pony (wearing glasses) – Needs to forget his myopic ways and give something to the world
  • Pepe – needs to forget to give selflessly and take something from the world.
