Formula One 2009 Video | Red Bull Racing’s Sebastian Vettel Explains New Rule Changes

Formula One is the top class of motor sport in the world. It comprises the best driving racing for the best teams with the most money and most advanced technology. And it’s one of my favorite sports.

This video shows Red Bull Racing’s Sebastian Vettel explain the rule changes for the new 2009 season using simple language we can all understand. But better than that, the changes to the cars are shown using CG graphics.

While covering the Daytona 500, I argued the case for Formula One being far superior, but a lack of overtaking and excitement has hurt the sport in recent years. These new rule changes are designed to bring back the sense that the drivers rather than the cars are responsible for the results.

Last year saw Lewis Hamilton win the F1 World Championship, and being British, I was over the moon. The 2009 season looks set to test his skills as a driver much more than last season. Can he do it again? I hope so.
