Franklin Graham for one. This is the son of Billy Graham, and Franklin has taken his father’s good name and used his notoriety to go on the offensive against anyone who doesn’t agree with him and his ilk. Including, as The Young Turks spot, those on the other side of the political fence.

My answer to the question I posed in the title of this post? It shouldn’t matter what his religious beliefs are. The U.S. was established on the basis of a freedom to believe whatever you want, and surely that includes religion.

Why not have a Muslim president? Or an atheist one for that matter. I couldn’t care less as long as they do the job they are charged with doing, which is running the country for the good of all, regardless of race, religion, gender, etc.
