The Watergate scandal describes the moment America realized its Presidents weren’t God-like. Instead, they could be as scheming and underhanded as the next guy, and Richard Nixon was the next guy.

This video is the trailer for Frost/Nixon, a new movie detailing the events surrounding a series of interviews the British broadcaster David Frost had with President Nixon.

When I first heard about the premise behind this movie I wondered how on earth they were going to be able to make a series of interviews from 30 years ago interesting, but it seems as though they’ve managed it superbly well.

Wikipedia gives a detailed account of the Watergate scandal in language most of us can understand, but if movies are more your bag then Frost/Nixon may just do the job of explaining that period in history well enough.
