Normally I wouldn’t associate Anderson Cooper or the mainstream news with comedy, but this little clip is a big exception.
Whoever wrote the transcript that he’s reading in this broadcast should be writing for the Daily Show because it’s pretty damn hilarious.
Puns don’t usually get me laughing, but for some reason when someone like Anderson Cooper says them it makes me giggle- and apparently he can’t stop. My favorite part (besides the whole “losing it” part) had to be the very end where he just reads the puns.
Folks, this is “yellow journalism at it’s finest.”
