What if Marty McFly had travelled back in time from the present day, and instead of performing Chuck Berry he’d performed some Skrillex?
This. This is what. It would have ruined the film, naturally, but as a comedy sketch it’s very funny indeed.
I don’t mind a bit of dubstep every now and then. It certainly blows the cobwebs away when played at full volume in headphones. But it isn’t a genre that is likely to be around for long, and it’s no rock and roll.
That’s what makes this clip so funny, because there’s no reason why this couldn’t have been the plot to the first Back To The Future film, but we should all be thankful it wasn’t.
