For those of you that don’t already know, the comedian Bernie Mac (most known for playing Frank Catton in Ocean’s Eleven) died from complications of pneumonia yesterday.
In tribute to him, I’ve dug up a clip from one of his best movie moments.
I’m not a huge fan of Bernie Mac, though I admit occasionally chuckling at his TV show “The Bernie Mac Show” and some of his stand up. No, he wasn’t as groundbreaking as Richard Pryor, but he did have a certain way of putting a smile on your face.
All criticism aside, Bernie was a good comic that didn’t deserve an abrupt demise. No doubt, he will be missed greatly by his fans. The next time you watch Ocean’s Eleven, be sure to smile when you see Frank Catton.
