Every time I see a Corona beer advertisement on TV, it’s usually the same perfect scenario: a guy on a private beach relaxing with a Corona and lime on a table next to him.
This clever spoof has all those requirements plus a little reality check.
The beach (or the editing for that matter) might not be as perfect in this spoof, but the concept is pure genius. Spills and profanity always seem to be present every time my peers drink- so why not in a Corona commercial?
Even the ending is brilliant. Nothing sends a clearer message than fifteen or so empty beer bottles followed by the words “drink responsibly.” So the next time you see a Corona ad, be sure to point out all the fallacies.
