This should go without saying but DO NOT REPLY to spam emails! Ever. Even if you think trolling is funny. If it gets through to your inbox, mark it as spam. And then ignore it. Completely.
This guy didn’t ignore his spam. Instead, he replied to it. And turned the resulting exchange into a short film noir.
This is a brilliant short film. Classy, moody, and with fantastic lighting throughout. And then there’s the evolcative voiceover reminiscent of old detective stories.
This guy could make a series of these, replying to emails of different descriptions and writing short scripts around the interactions. I’d watch them.
