People who are always constantly texting are just one of my pet peeves. Sure, the girl has every right to sue, but all the money in the world isn’t going to undo this embarrassment.

If you fall into a manhole while texting, chances are you might be a texting addict.

As much as I’d like to feel sorry for the poor girl, I just can’t help but laugh at the incident. All she really needed was to mind where she was going, but I guess that’s too much to ask of in today’s technologically distracting world.

While the mother appears to be outraged by the city workers, something tells me part of that frustration is coming from her careless daughter. Even the reporter’s tone is somewhat sarcastic.

The comment about the shoe at the end just adds to the comedy of the whole situation.
