If you haven’t heard by now, it’s now officially illegal to drive with a cellphone in your hand in the state of California. However, it’s still legal to do a number of other unsafe things.
Trust comedian Skyler Stone to come up with a video showing tons of those visual (and completely legal) examples.
While I know the point of this video is to make the new “hands free” law seem absurd, the fact is that the road is a much safer place when drivers aren’t distracted. I can remember countless times I’ve almost caused a wreck while fumbling with my phone.
Apparently cops have been having a field day by giving out tons of $20 tickets to first time offenders. For California residents, I suggest using that money for a bluetooth headset instead.
No matter how gay it looks.
