It wasn’t all that long ago that people would ask their partner to marry them with very little fuss. The partner would say Yes, they’d kiss, and life would be good.
Now, marriage proposals work a little differently. Because it’s less about the people involved, and more about impressing everyone else on social media.
This video shows what I can only imagine is a typical millennial marriage proposal. With the bride-to-be more worried about making it look good.
This may be an extreme version of the truth, but I bet it isn’t a million miles away from what actually happens.
