I always love to hear stories about science tackling the really important issues. So I was thrilled to hear scientists have put their heads together to create a mouse that isn’t afraid of cats.
Now I don’t know about you, but I’m not sure why we needed a fearless mouse. I suppose the mice are a little easier to catch when they’re frolicking about the cat’s legs, but are there any real advantages here?
Like many scientific “breakthroughs,” this seems like something scientists have done just because they can. Judging by the reaction of this kitty, it’s likely to create some very confused cats.
