Genius Jon Lajoie ‘Please Use This Song’ Music Video | At Least He Is Being Honest

Jon Lajoie may have outdone himself with his latest song, which mocks recording artists who sell their soul to the devil. Otherwise known as licensing a song to an advertising agency.

I’m sure most bands and singers make music for the love of it. At least I hope they do.

However, if someone wants to pay them money to use one of their songs in a commercial, few manage to stay strong enough to say NO.

Jon Lajoie is mocking that fact with Please Use This Song, which is a song all about using songs in commercials.

You need to watch all the way to the end or you’ll miss the rather unexpected and ghoulish conclusion.
