Not being American, or that interested in American football, I must admit that football fight songs, especially those to do with college football, have passed me by a little.
However, this one, called I’m a Ramblin’ Wreck from Georgia Tech, which clearly from its title is the fight song of Georgia Tech, or the Georgia Institute of Technology, is actually quite catchy.
This video shows the lyrics of the song along with the backing track, allowing you to learn the words and how they fit in the song before heading out to the game.
However, I’ll probably stick to learning those terrace chants commonplace on the English football terraces. They may be ruder, and slightly more offensive, but they’ll do for me.
