“One thing to remember when producing your viral video, is that your budget should always be between $0-100. Anything more and you might as well be makin’ a real movie. Or a robot.”

That’s just one the many rules that Franco and Billy bring up in IFC’s latest completed web series “Get Hit;” the most painful slapstick web comedy you’ll ever see.

They may play a bunch of clueless idiots in this show, but Billy and Franco are in fact stage performers in LA. The two were discovered by IFC at a film festival in 2006 and already responsible for another web series called ‘Chasing Paradise.’

As for the show itself, it’s not as funny as some of IFC’s other web hits (for example Wilfred The Pot Smoking Dog) and isn’t helpful at all for aspiring film makers. However, it’s still mildly entertaining.

How to Get Funding

This is the second episode of ‘Get Hit’ where Billy and Franco put themselves though quite a bit of pain just to fund their video. Blood, sweat, and tears can be found in almost every webisode while the finale contains a random appearance from Liam Sillivan.

What else would you expect from a group who lists the word “beer” twice on their list of “Things You Need To Make A Viral Video?”
