Google Wave is Google’s new attempt at allowing a seamless integration between many different aspects of the Web. In essence, it allows you to communicate and collaborate with document/conversations, otherwise known as Waves.

This video is the abridged version of the full presentation of Google Wave, which lasts over an hour. It condenses the information down to the most relevant and important parts and gives a good overview of Google Wave.

A Wave takes elements of social networking such as live chat and instant messaging, along with games and the ability to share music and photos, and bundles it all up into a document which updates in real-time for all participants.

Google Wave hasn’t yet fully launched and is only available in a very limited preview. You can take part in the preview if you’re willing to report bugs and take surveys about the product.
