This video shows grandparents discovering Apple’s Photo Booth for the first time. They love it and end up laughing like drains at the sights they’re seeing of themselves.
I can only assume the reason older people find Photo Booth and its ilk (most webcam software has something similar) is because they remember the old hall of mirrors you used to get in fairgrounds.
Now you can get the same effect in the comfort of your own home, and record the results for posterity. Isn’t technology fantastic?!?
