Whenever a rap remix comes out for a song it always gets mixed reactions, especially when it’s done to a pop song to gain crossover play on urban radio stations. Mariah Carey’s latest single “Obsessed,” on the other hand, is a giant exception to the rule.
There’s a reason why you probably haven’t heard this remix on the radio- it’s blatantly horrible.
I’m not the biggest fan of Mariah Carey, but now that I’ve seen this I’m even less of a fan of Gucci Mane. I can’t decide what’s worse; his annoying seemingly drunk presence (who let him drink?) or the stupid interjections he constantly makes.
Jim Jones may hold the record for the worst rap song of the year, but Gucci Mane certainly has the worst rap remix.
