The Die Hard movies are absolutely kick-ass. We’ve now had four of the blockbusters and hopefully there’ll be another, made before Bruce Willis gets too old to play John McClane. Although I suppose if Harrison Ford can make an Indiana Jones movie in his sixties then there’s still time left for Willis.
This song by Guyz Nite is a tribute to the Die Hard movies and John McClane. It takes the form of a rock balled which covers all four of the films in order and includes some spoilers, funny lines, and swearing.
I just hope this video isn’t removed because it takes footage from the movies and uses it without permission. The movie studios are petty about the use of their content, even if like in this case it helps promote the movies and could actually drive DVD sales.
Can Die Hard 5, assuming it happens, ever hope to beat Die Hard 4.0? The last movie had everything you could hope for in an all-out action spectacular and I’m not sure it can be bettered. If it ever is then I’m sure this song will have another verse added as a tribute.
