I’m afraid I was one of those kids that found school very boring. I was well-behaved, polite, and had a good attendance record but I lived for the evenings and weekends.
However, if I’d have had a teacher like this one, who takes every opportunity to make learning fun, and sees being a teacher as a vocation rather than a job then maybe I wouldn’t have thought it so dull.
The video shows one match teacher’s effort to do something special for Halloween 2009. So with a pre-recorded video and some clever video editing techniques he turns a boring math lesson into something fun.
You can hear in the kids’ laughter and applause that they appreciated the effort. My guess is they left this lesson with more respect for the teacher and a willingness to pay more attention to him in future.
If only more teachers were like this.
