The Undateables is a British television series showing people trying to find love. But the people featured have a disability or other issues that adversely affect their relationship status.
Having watched the first episode of the show, it’s interesting to see how having a disability changes everything when it comes to dating.
First dates are always slightly terrifying, and packed with expectations and desire, but these first dates excel in these areas.
What’s refreshing is to see that these so-called undateable people aren’t simply paired up with each other. Instead, most of the couples comprise one person with an issue, and the other an ordinary man or woman open-minded enough to see past that issue.
