We’ve all heard the traditional festive poem The Night Before Christmas. But this version, by British comedian John Cleese, is far from traditional.

It tells the story of a Santa that’s in touch with the latest technology and reindeers that have little respect for their clumsy boss. But the real humor comes from John Cleese’s diabolical plan to kidnap Santa and spoil Christmas for everyone else!

John Cleese is at his diabolical best in this inspired piece of festive fun. This may not be the classic poem I remember enjoying as a kid, but I think his modern take is much better!
