More and more ads (and infomercials) are using “real people” to sell their products. They show these “real people” the product in question, and film their responses.
Except that these people are about as real as a room full of mythical creatures having an orgy. I mean, they exist, but they’re actors. Every. Single. Time.
This video spoofs this style of ad, with the “real people” giving such over-the-top performances that I think CollegeHumor is suggesting they’re just actors. But it is just a hunch.
I love this, and it will come to mind every time I see another one of those godawful commercials.
