If you’re a fan of David Blaine’s Street Magic video, you probably saw the part when he painfully twisted his hand completely around in 360 degrees.

This tutorial will show you how to do the same trick and impress (or at least freak out) your friends. Oh, and it’s not really painful at all.

The solution to the trick is actually really simple. Rather than really twisting your hand around, you actually start off with it already twisted around.

Like all magic tricks, the secret is in the illusion, or in this case, the distraction. I wouldn’t recommend first attempting this in front of your friends. Unless, of course, you want to make a complete fool of yourself.
