The 2018 Winter Olympics have started, which means many of us will be spending the next two weeks watching sports we could never even attempt ourselves.
One of which is snowboarding, which looks like fun, but it actually more difficult than skiing. So I’m out. Unlike Jamie Anderson, who won gold in the Slopestyle snowboarding final.
Slopestyle sees snowboarders careering downhill and performing tricks on the way. Usually a combination of rails and jumps.
The conditions in Pyeongchang were treacherous for snowboarders as a result of strong crosswinds. However, this didn’t stop Anderson from pulling off some spectacular stunts on her run.
