Jaycee Lee Dugard was abducted when she was just 11-years-old after being dragged into a car while walking to a local bus stop. Now, at the age of 29, she was been discovered alive and well. What a truly amazing story.
It turns out that Dugard was kidnapped by a man named Phillip Garrido and his wife Nancy. They kept Jaycee living in sheds and tents behind their ranch-style house for all these years.
Garrido is believed to have fathered two children with Jaycee, children who are now aged 11 and 15. Which doing the math means he was having sex with her at 14. Garrido was already on parole for a rape and kidnapping from 1971.
Dugard is said to be in good health, certainly considering how she has been living for the past 18 years. Why she never tried to escape is still a mystery but for now it’s just good to hear she’s back with the mother who had given her up for dead a long time ago.
