It’s Cinco de Mayo! Which gives everybody the perfect excuse to eat lashings of Mexican food and drink a little too much tequila.
That is assuming you know when Cinco de Mayo is. I do, and I suspect you do too. But some people aren’t blessed with as many brain cells as us.
I’m British and Cinco de Mayo isn’t celebrated in the UK. I also don’t speak a word of Spanish. And yet even I know Cinco de Mayo is Spanish for May the 5th.
This means it would be hard to celebrate Cinco de Mayo on any day other than May the 5th. And also means these people are ignorant dummies.
