Jimmy Kimmel doesn’t understand the appeal of watching other people play video games. So he mocked those who do when YouTube launched YouTube Gaming.
When gamers responded by mocking him back, he didn’t particularly like it, and so doubled down on his hatred for those people who partake in eSports. Because he’s a closed-minded idiot.
The problem is that while Kimmel is clearly entitled to his view, people who enjoy watching other people play video games are also entitled to theirs.
Kimmel doesn’t have to understand eSports, but it’s no different than people watching, rather than playing, traditional sports such as football and baseball. Get over it.
