JK Rowling, the writer of the Harry Potter series, is the world’s highest earning author. She made over $300 million over the past year. Which equate to $6 million a week.

That’s an unbelievable sum of money for someone who has written just seven books in 10 years, albeit that those seven books were all best-sellers.

This video shows Craig Ferguson’s interpretation of what happened when JK Rowling met George W. Bush to promote literacy.

I may have an issue with Ferguson over his anti-Britishness, but he does a brilliant job spoofing JK Rowling in this clip – showing her as a money-grabbing, power-hungry freak.

I’m sure she’s not like that in real life at all, but, that sort of money has got to change you as a person. I know it would change me.
