One of the stars of long-running TV series Touched By An Angel, John Dye, has passed away from heart failure at the tender age of just 47.
In Touched By An Angel Dye played a kind-of Angel of Death, but his role changed through the 8 years he was on the show from 1995 to 2003.
His death at such a young age is shocking, and also a little eerie given his role on that show. He had previously spoken about the role being compelling due to the fact that death isn’t something we talk about or face up to very easily.
Dye also appeared in several other television series and also many films. And will be sorely missed by his family, friends, and fans.
