There are plenty of different ways of asking your significant other to marry you. One of which, as it turns out, is asking Karl Pilkington to pop the question for you.
Pilkington, for those who don’t know, is Ricky Gervais’ idiot friend. He’s not actually an idiot, but Pilkington does the character in fine style.
I’m not sure Pilkington would be my first choice, as there are plenty of other celebrities who seem rather more suited to the task.
Still, he pops the question, and let’s hope she says yes. Meanwhile, Pilkington still hasn’t asked his longterm girlfriend Suzanne to marry him. Or, if he did, she must have said no. Oops.
