The kid whose voice is featured in this video is well aware that one should call 911 in an emergency. But the equation that constitutes an emergency for him wasn’t the life and death situation his mother had in mind when teaching her kids those three little numbers.
I’m not so sure why a four year old considers the inability to solve a math problem such an urgent matter, but it makes for a funny conversation with the dispatcher. The guy is actually quite patient, and even tries to help the kid figure it out.
If you ever need to call 911 and can’t get through, keep in mind that someone with a real problem just might be on the line with them.
